Joe Enright

Since retiring from the FBI, ending a forty year law enforcement career in which he avoided indictment and bought many a round, Joe Enright abides. This is his first fictional foray. His blog posts featuring deep dives into Brooklyn history and grossly opinionated takes on the passing parade (found here, here and here) have averaged thousands of monthly visits by the lost and misguided. Moreover, his PhD dissertation (CUNY, John Jay College of Criminal Justice) continues to be downloaded every week by scholars and insomniacs who’ve heard of its extraordinary sleep-inducing properties. He lives in Brooklyn’s West Midwood/Little Pakistan enclave with Virginia Waters, his very long-suffering attorney wife, and an empty nest, although his son James, a construction project manager, does return to help the old man install/uninstall window air conditioners and regale him with extraordinarily funny observations about life in the five boroughs. An incredibly self-congratulatory bio can be found at LinkedIn.
